The Pokemon Go craze has brought with it a number of creative ways to incorporate Pokemon Go into Party Celebrations. Here are a few Pokemon Go craft ideas that we are sure your kids will love!

Paper Plate Poke Ball - via Little Bins for Little Hands

This is so simple for the younger Pokemon Go fans. Using Paper plates (2 per ball), red and black markers (or we used coloured tissue paper), black tape (from Bunnings)

PokeBall Party Favours for Pokemon Go Party Celebrations - via Frog Prince and Paperie

This took us a little longer than 10 mins due to the painting of the foam balls (we used Foam Balls from the Local craft store as we couldn't source plastic balls cheaply in Australia). This is an AWESOME idea for party favours!

Planning A Paw Patrol Party? Paw Patrol is a popular TV program on Nickelodeon that follows 6 rescue dogs who are lead by a tech-savy kid, Ryder to protect their community. Each dog has a special skill or gadget that helps them to do jobs like rescuing a cat or saving a train from a rockslide. We have had many requests from Perth Mums to help create a "Paw Patrol Party" for their child - one that is filled with heaps of games and activities. The Mum's love to style the party with themed party food and decorations, whilst we take care of entertaining the kids. Here are some games that have a Paw Patrol Twist that the kids of Perth are loving!

Guest Arrival

It's best to let kids warm up when they first arrive and what better way than to colour in their favourite Paw Patrol Characters

When guests have arrived we want to get them up and moving and what better way to do this than playing Chase Says which is a simple twist on a traditional party game - Simon Says.

Skye's Loop & Hoop Game

you will need several Hula hoops and a stack of white paper. You will also need string to hang them from either trees or the ceiling, depending on where you are playing the game. Hang the hoops at different heights based on what the age range can handle. Have each child make a paper airplane and then line the children up. Children will take turns trying to fly their planes just like Skye. They will try to get them through each hoop.

Zuma's Water Rescue Relay
Kids love to move their bodies and what better way than have them run, hop, jump and crawl using your very own obstacle course. We use an array of cones, hula hoops and play tunnels. For this game you'll also need a small tub with some water in it  and some small figures. The object of the game is to help Zuma rescue from the water. Have kids run thru your obstacles and at one end of the obstacle course have the bowl of water with figurines. Have the kids retrieve or "rescue" a figurine, run back to the start line and tag the next player. Figurines are collected and tallied. The team with the most figurines at the end of say a 3 minute relay time are the winners!

Rubble, Rubble, Chase.
Kids love playing the traditional fun game of Duck, Duck, Goose. In this game, kids sit down in a circle facing each other. One person is "it" and walks around the circle. As they walk around, they tap people's heads and say whether they are a "rubble" or a "chase". Once someone is the Chase they get up and try to chase "it" around the circle. The goal is to tap that person before they are able sit down in the chase's spot. If the chase  is not able to do this, they become "it" for the next round and play continues. If they do tap the "it" person, the person tagged has to sit in the centre of the circle. Then the Chase becomes it for the next round. The person in the middle can't leave until another person is tagged and they are replaced.

Paw Patrol Duck Duck Goose Game

Pass the Bone Relay

WE play this game as a simple running relay with a twist! Line up the kids in two straight even lines and have each child run up to a bowl (or crawl on all fours like a Puppy) which has a "bone" we use Gummy Bear Lollies and have them eat the Lolly. Once they have successfully eaten the lolly they pick up a Dog Treat Bone from the pile next to the plate, run back and tag the next player. The team with the most "bones" wins the relay. Ensure that each player is provided with a new paper bowl for hygenie reasons.

I'm writing to let you know how impressed we were with Austin today. Such a class act! He was really enthusiastic and did a wonderful job of keeping the boys entertained with all sorts of soccer games. Thanks to Austin and your team at Encore Kids Parties for making my son's 6th birthday party so successful and memorable. T. Nov 2023
