If you have travelled to America you would be familiar with the American Camp tradition of Smores. In New York you can order a smores plate for kids to enjoy making their very own Smores whilst you sip your latte in peace smiley (I enjoyed many peacful Lattes when my boys were young). Gracie has reminded me of this favourite pass time and suggested what a great idea this would be for a sleepover party.

How to make Smores

You will need

6 digestive biscuits
100g packet mini marshmallows
150g block milk chocolate, cut into small pieces (We use Lindt)

Instructions:
Step 1    Cut eight 15cm foil squares. Sit a digestive biscuit on each square, top with some marshmallows, then some chocolate and another digestive biscuit.
Step 2    Wrap in foil and place in the embers of a fire (get an adult to help), or in the oven (preheated to 180°C). Bake for 5-6 minutes or until heated through. Serve with mugs of hot chocolate.

Enjoy

I'm writing to let you know how impressed we were with Austin today. Such a class act! He was really enthusiastic and did a wonderful job of keeping the boys entertained with all sorts of soccer games. Thanks to Austin and your team at Encore Kids Parties for making my son's 6th birthday party so successful and memorable. T. Nov 2023
